The day after 9/11/01, I was camping in Glacier Park, Montana.  Everyone in the area was shocked. 

Not everyone was surprised, however.  One guy said, "Sounds like someone at the supper table throwing their food.  It's noisy, and only unexpected by those who had their eyes closed.  What is it about Muslims that we are not listening to?  What is it that we are not hearing that makes them believe they have to  make so much ruckus to get out attention?"

I went out and took a look at the view (above) and thought long and hard.  I have been with the Peace Project ever since.

This is the Two Medicine area.   The mountain in the middle is called Sinopah.
